Ice is just water that’s so cold that it has become a solid. This happens at 0 degrees Centigrade (32 degrees Fahrenheit).

Ice is lighter than water – that’s why it floats.

If a piece of ice is floating in water, you’ll see 1/10 th above the water, and 9/10 th will be below the surface. The phrase ‘just the tip of the iceberg’ means something like “that’s only a small part of what’s really there!” – just like most of an iceberg would be hidden.

Ice has many uses – the most important one being used to make delicious Polar Krush! But ice is also used to cool things down, to take pain away from an injury, for sports like skating, and you can even make sculptures with it.
