Winner – Made in the North East

International natural iced drinks manufacturer Polar Krush has beaten off competition to win the Food and Drink Award at the Made in the North East Awards 2017. The company triumphed after the judging panel took into consideration account innovation, commercial success and business development, along with use of regional products.

Paul Goldfinch, founder of Polar Krush said, “We are delighted to have won the Food and Drink Award at the Made in the North East Awards. Our products are enjoyed around the world and I am very proud to that they are created and developed right here in the North East. This is a fantastic achievement for my talented team who make all of this possible; the company is at a point of rapid growth and it is fantastic to see our achievements recognised in the region and beyond.

“We recently made the commitment make all of our products sugar-free, within the next six months. Our aim was always to make our fun drinks a guilt-free treat by making them completely sugar-free and almost zero calorie. We’re the only iced-drinks, and possibly soft drink manufacturer in the world to make this commitment and I am thrilled that this has been recognised and celebrated by the awarding body.”
